GoldCue makes gold estimators for gold buyers, pawn shops, coin shops and jewelers. This page explains what we collect, why, and who sees it.
If you ask us to build your page
When you fill in "Build my page" on this site, we receive your shop's name, your name, phone, email, website and the look you picked. We use them to build your page and to contact you about it. Nothing else.
If you book a walkthrough
When you pick a time for a call, we receive your name, phone and email so we can call you and send your confirmation. Nothing else.
If you price your gold on a shop's page
- What you enter to get an estimate (the pieces, karat, weight or size) is used to work out your price range.
- If you send your estimate to the shop, your name, phone, email, the day you'd like to visit, your pieces, your estimate and any photos or video you add are sent to that shop so it can prepare your quote. You get a quote ticket with a link and a QR code.
- If you use "snap a photo", the photo is read to fill in the answers for you. We don't keep it unless you add it to the quote you send.
- The shop may text you about your quote only if you check the box that says it can.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information or share it with anyone other than the shop you chose.
- We don't use advertising trackers on these pages.
Keeping and deleting
Quotes are kept so you and the shop can open your quote ticket. To have your information deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email admin@trygoldcue.com.
